Poppy Seed has been traditionally used in folkmagic to cause confusion, forgetfulness and memory loss. It's also said to be one of the main ingredients in "witches flying ointment". Having these properties it's also very useful in sleep and dreamwork.

They are also used for protection to confuse your enemies. Sprinkle in doorways and any entering spirit must count each grain before they enter.
