Licorice root is allegedly the number one root to use for compelling, commanding or influencing someone in the practice of conjure. Licorice Root works by making the person being worked on believe they are in control and that they have made their choice of action without realizing they have been worked on or influenced into making such choice. Licorice Root is strong but subtle in action. It is not a "hot" root, though it is included in lists of roots and herbs for domination.
