In folkmagic Black Walnut has several uses, most notably it is used to separate lovers. Whether it's yourself still attached to a broken relationship or to break up someone elses relationship. For self this is traditionally accomplished in the form of a spiritual bath with a black walnut brew. Along this aspect it is  also traditionally used to hex or jinx people.

Black walnut is also excellent for making a powerful spell ink which can be used to write petitions or in your BOS.
